Stories from Faces of Life |
In celebration of National Hospice Month in November of 2005, we created Faces of Life. This was a powerful photo exhibit of photographs and inspiring stories from our patients and families; stories of hope and life, about the human spirit and living each day to its fullest. Families shared some of their most intimate stories with us so that we could celebrate life’s journey. At Covenant Hospice, we feel that the end of life is not about how you die, but how you live. In 2006 , we decided to take the project a step further and publish stories and photographs in a 96 page hard-back book called Faces of Life. By purchasing the book, Faces of Life, you are supporting Covenant Hospice. We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate service to patients and loved ones during times of life-limiting illnesses. Our care is always based on need, not the ability to pay. In celebration of National Hospice Month in November 2006, we unveiled the book and held photo exhibits in each of our branch areas. We hope you find Faces of Life to be inspirational and encourage you to add life to your days while positively impacting those around you, like all of the people in this project have done. After all, it’s all about living. We consider it an honor each day to be a part of the lives of our patients, families, and volunteers.
Faces of Life is published by Ballinger Publishing.
Covenant Hospice is grateful to healthcare professional, author, and speaker Quint Studer for his support of Faces of Life. Inc. Magazine named Quint
